These are real instructions that don’t make any sense:
- “Keep away from children” on a bottle of BABY lotion…DUH, isn’t a baby a child?
- “Do not drive after taking medicine” on CHILDREN’S cold and cough chewable tablet…DUH, kids can’t drive!!
- “Do not turn upside down” on the BOTTOM of a cake package…DUH; you have to turn the cake upside down so you can read the directions that tell NOT to turn the cake upside down.
- “Some assembly required” on a 500 piece puzzle…DUH, it’s a PUZZLE.
- “Warning: May contain nuts” on a pack of peanuts…DUH!!!
- “Warning: May cause drowsiness: on a box of SLEEPING pills…DUH…they’re sleeping pills; they’re supposed to make you drowsy so you can sleep.
- “Do not expose to flame” on the side of a lighter…DUH, isn’t that the purpose of a lighter…to make a flame?

Brilliant! Amazing! You're logic is overwhelming!
Disturbing, isn't it, that in order to ensure that a company isn't held responsible for stupidity on the part of one of their customers, the product they sell is required to display such a warning.
Be sure to thank your nearest LAWYER for these 'DUH' warnings.
